Hayden Born, daredevil mercenary | Splash art

Following his character design, here's the first full art I painted for Hayden. This one is meant to be in pair with a second artwork I will show soon.

Not so easy to finalize due to the enviroment, which is a weak point to me, but I took the chance to actually do some practice.

In this version, Hayden is still largely unaware of what is going to happen to him, the changes his body will suffer. He is bold, reckless, with a talent for getting into troubles and, somehow, happy and positive about life, despite living in a brutal world. Accordingly, I painted him a situazion meant to be the most dynamic possible. He is caught in action, with a nearly explosion still detonating. The palette is mostly warm, the enviroment indoor and claustrophobic. Everything is fast, out of balance, frenetic.
